Keep the Ball Rollin’ is an annual golf tournament held at Kings Walk Golf Course. All proceeds from Keep the Ball Rollin’ will go to the BLC to help support youth sports. The BLC has financially supported many local projects and organizations in the GF community such as youth hockey arenas, baseball complexes, Youth & High School sports, and the Giving Hearts program. Funds raised from this golf tournament will continue to help the BLC support these local projects and organizations. Thank you for your support!

In Honor of Nako
Former Sioux Hockey Player and Grand Forks Red River High School Hockey Coach, Perry Nakonechny (Nako) passed away at age 47 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He is remembered as a great teammate and even greater family man. The Blue Line Club (BLC) would also like to recognize the passing of Tyler, Perry’s son, in Nov. 2018. Tyler was Perry’s favorite golf buddy.
All proceeds from the Keep the Ball Rollin’ Tournament will go to the BLC to help support youth sports. Making An Impact
Each year, the Blue Line Club identifies local individuals in need of support and all proceeds from the annual Keep the Ball Rollin’ Golf Tournament goes to assist those individuals. The beneficiary of the 2024 Keep the Ball Rollin’ Golf Tournament is Chris Langei. All proceeds of this year’s tournament will go to support Chris’s battle to power through and conquer cancer.
Chris was diagnosed with Stage 3 Triple-Negative Metastatic Breast Cancer in January 2024. Over the past 32 years, Chris has had a positive impact on the Greater Grand Forks community through training and coaching the at the Grand Forks Park District, Langei Edge, and UND Athletics.
